Have you ever craved something when you’re hungry and then haven’t been able to eat it which results in you not wanting anything else?
Well, if you haven’t, don’t. If you have, you know how I felt today after work.
The only thing I wanted was a grilled cheese sandwich. I had the vegan cheese, I had the whole wheat bread, I had the pan and the stove….
The cheese didn’t really melt, the bread toasted nicely, hot sauce didn’t help. I had a few bites and tossed the sammie in the trash. It wasn’t happening and didn’t fulfill my desires for a melty, hot, beautifully toasted grilled cheese sandwich.
I then attempted to eat leftover pasta. Fail. Then I tried some veggies. Double fail.
I resorted to some apple sauce. It was good. Not very filling. Now I’m off to bed disappointed.
I need to find a new kind of cheese that melts — that isn’t shredded.
Gosh I miss real cheese and how easy it was to make a melty, gooey grilled cheese…

I have had days like that- LOTS of them! It so disappointing too. You think that what you are going to eat is going to be so good, then that first bite is just beyond gross.
Are you lactose intolerant or allergic to casein? If you don’t have an allergy, you can try Veggie Shreds- It is the best alternative I have found. In fact I had a grilled ham and cheeze sandwich yesterday. They have the slices, and shredded.
